What makes us different?

  • Lessons are offered in piano, strings, brass and woodwinds. AMA is your one-stop shop for string instrumental rental (Chun Strings, Sugar Hill) and all things musical for your students’ needs.
  • We've developed a strong and consistent curriculum that helps our students progress quickly and efficiently.
  • We offer 20 lessons per semester [August-December and January-May] at a more reasonable cost than competing music schools.
  • Each year we curate student recitals as well as an annual AMA recital to ensure students gain valuable performance experience.
  • We organize Summer camps that are available to students at all levels.
  • We offer string instrument rentals and next level string instrument purchases which are conveniently located at our Sugar Hill location through Chun Strings.

For over 40 years, Atlanta Music Academy (also known as AMA), has become renowned for providing professional inspiration and instruction for students of all ages and experience levels in the greater Atlanta area. Our diverse faculty includes musicians from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra as well as other professional musical ensembles and have attended Schools of Music and

Conservatories noted internationally for their excellence. The majority of AMA students successfully audition and secure positions in All- State, the AYSO (Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra) the Emory Youth Symphony as well as other Honors orchestras and bands throughout Georgia.
